Louvre at night

You wont see it but at this particular night there was a very long cue at the entrance of the Louvre. It was the night of the museums meaning all big museums in Paris were open. By the way it was raining, too.

iles du salut – boat

In case I am repeating myself … this beautiful group of islands – îles du salut – is really worth a trip. It used to be a prison island many years ago. Dreyfus and Seznec were two of the more famous inmates.

In the museum

One day I went with my wife’s nephew to show him the dinosaurs bones in the natural museum in Paris. I guess he enjoyed it reading from his eyes.

This is one of my latest personal projects. Below you will find a few test renders which are actually not of a high pixel quality. I am still working on the lightning and textures and composition. By the way the second image is the very latest test render so far. I will try to wrap up the whole project pretty soon I hope. So stay tuned to check out the progress on it.

Sicilian Police men

I just could not let this moment vanish. I had to take this picture as soon as I saw them. They remind me a little bit of “CHiPs” except for the motorbikes (perhaps I am giving away my age a bit). I hope I am not going to get in trouble after this. By the way this picture had been taken near the famous church in Montreal, Sicily.

Prison road

This road leads to the old prison of “les îles du Salut” in French Guiana. Its a group of three beautiful islands and really worth the seeing. It is a very mystic and peaceful place at the same time.

Streets of Arras

This is my wife pushing our baby buggy the city of Arras in the North of France. This picture was taken at 8 PM on a Saturday night! This city is great fun as you can see!

Those little feet are my daughters’. She is too little to use them that is why they are a bit dusty as you can see in the picture. BTW it was my wife who took this beautiful image.

Etna volcano

When you are in Sicily you should not miss the opportunity to climb Mount Etna. I was in awe. By the way when you are on top of the volcano and you look around you will actually see that everything around Etna is green. One word: Fertiliser.

Frog on wall

This friendly looking frog I have discovered one night. It was calmly sitting in a walls’ corner in Roura, French Guiana – not afraid of anything it allowed me to get pretty close with my camera.
